Marco! Polo! What couple plays Marco, Polo in a field of grass? Becky and Joe do! It perfectly matched the personality of these two. It was one of those weddings where everything just felt right. Becky and Joe couple were blessed with the perfect fall wedding day at one of the prettiest golf courses we’ve ever visited for a wedding.

The modern, barn reception venue at the Ranch Golf Club is one of the hidden gems in Massachusetts as it is an open canvas for brides and grooms to paint. Becky had two close friends who put together a simple and elegant room together that the bride just gushed over. From white mums and pumpkins, to mason jars, to the closeline placecard holder, this wedding was a pinterest board of its own that could be titled ‘Rustic Chic’. Becky and Joe’s wedding day included an outside ceremony featuring their dog, Nala, a fabulous golden hour photo session and dance party that created some of the best circle dance-offs of the year.

We truly enjoyed working with Aveline June Photography and Bob Raina of Bob Raina DJ as their cooperative efforts made our day a lot of fun. Enjoy our latest Boston Wedding Film!

We were happy to be the video sponsor for Eventiques, an Event created by Eutopia Events that took place two weeks ago at the Eastworks Building in Easthampton, Massachusetts on May 3rd and 4th. New England Wedding wedding planners Ruthie McDonald and Lauren Mace are the duo behind the event that is subtitled, A Wedding and Event Flea Market. The event allows former brides the opportunity to sell their wedding related items from wedding dresses to detail-related items like mason jars, lanterns, vases, wine cork placecard holders and so much more. It’s like an awesome, live pinterest board, in one locations, and everything is for sale. Wedding planners and brides that are planning their weddings will have the opportunity to find an amazing selection of unique items for their event at prices that are much lower than purchasing them new. Here’s a two-minute glimpse back at the event that is growing and growing every year!

A Special thanks to all of the event sponsors: Bliss Celebrations, Cakes By Amanda, CJC Event Lighting, Cronin Hill Photography, Durocher Florist, Eutopia Events, Forget Me Not Florist,  JPod Productions and Well Wed Magazine.

On February 18th, we spent a snowy afternoon with the International Special Events Society’s (ISES) New England Chapter for their monthly meeting at Legal Harborside in the Seaport District of Boston. It was a seafood lovers dream of a meeting with shrimp cocktail, oysters, sushi, and clam chowder on the luncheon menu.

The featured speaker of the day was Roger Berkowitz, President & CEO of Legal Sea Foods. His presentation entitled “Building Your Brand” focused on how Legal Sea Foods has marketed creatively over the past decade to attract younger customers. Within that time, the company has had to adjust their strategies based on consumer reaction to their advertising campaigns, as well as to what was discovered through their market research. Mr. Berkowitz gave plenty of real life samples that kept the presentation informational and enjoyable.

The following highlight video is a quick glimpse into both the social and informational opportunities that ISES presents each month to its members. Sponsors of the meeting included Legal Harborside, Art of the Event, Inc., Black Thumb Studio, Brookline Ice Company, Entertainment Specialists, Gateway ProductionsJPod Productions, Peterson Party Center, and Winston Flowers.

It’s been a few years since we spent our New Years Eve at a wedding and I can’t think of a much better couple to ring in the New Year with than Kath Keen and Joe Di Biasi. What a fun night we had at the Cranwell Resort, Spa & Golf Club in Lenox, MA. The couple brought a laid back approach to the day, which is always a plus in my book. For so many reasons that are stated in this Boston wedding video, these two are just good together! What is really nice is that this film is only the tip of the iceberg, as there are many more stories to share in their feature film that is yet to come.

The ceremony was the first we’ve shot in the newly, renovated Main Ballroom, which now provides a variety of layouts for couples to choose from for their ceremony. Christmas was still in the air for Kath and Joe’s ceremony as a Christmas tree and red decor donned the ceremony location. Then Kath add loads of purple to the decor mix, as she is “obsessed” with the color (her words, not mine). A less-than traditional reception saw the couple go right into a fast dance set with their Band Total Soul from New York City. Some of the other surprises included a horse and buggy ride on a cold winter’s night, three outfit and shoe changes for the bride, and a balloon drop at the strike of midnight. Enjoy our latest Boston wedding video from the Berkshires of Massachusetts…

Tiffany and Matt Renfro simply found us through the internet as they liked the work we had online from their venue, the Boston Four Seasons Hotel. They are quiet and sweet couple, but they have surrounded themselves with a great group of friends and family which is evident in this highlight film. This Boston wedding video was held exclusively at the Four Seasons with the ceremony in the Governor’s Room and the reception in the main ballroom.

The highlight film is supported strongly by the heartfelt speech from Tiffany’s Dad, Ralph Silva. One of things listed on our Top Ten Things to Make Your Wedding Film Better is to have the Father of the Bride give a welcome toast, and this wedding film is a great example of why that is such a good idea. Ralph talks about being the protective father that never thought there might be a guy good enough for his little girl. Well, that was until Matt Renfro came along. The details, flowers, lighting, the beautiful Oakleaf-designed cake, right down to Tiffany’s Badgley Mischka shoes were so well put together as this wedding screamed stunning elegance.

Take a four-minute ride through our latest Boston wedding video as we worked alongside some of the best vendors in the city, including photographers Jill and Lauren from Person + Killian Photography. The Wilson Stevens band Eye 2 Eye could have been the best band we have ever worked with, as they packed the dance floor all night long and handled the often over-looked Emcee duties with energy and professionalism.

After spending several weeks of shooting Boston wedding videos, Liz and Jon were the first of two springtime weddings in the beautiful Berkshires of Massachusetts. The couple, who met in their hometown of Longmeadow, had a history that dated back to their childhood days. Rabbi Shapiro chose to reference Jewish writer Bernard Malamud’s Novel The Natural, as the perfect comparison to the couple. The novel about Baseball player Roy Hobbs had an obvious connection with Jon being a former baseball player himself, but the novel really matched the couple in the sense that Liz and Jon were just so natural together. We loved shooting and editing this film, because the glow of each of their faces was exactly what it should be on a wedding day, glowing and “natural”.

One of the best parts of the day was the couple’s first look, as Jon was just blown away by his bride to be. It was one of the best reactions we have ever seen. And, rightfully so, as Liz looked spectacular in her Monique Lhuillier dress from Kleinfelds and her Jimmy Choo shoes.

Liz and Jon were married at the Cranwell Resort, Spa & Golf Club in Lenox, MA. It was the first wedding film for us in the newly remodeled ballroom at the Cranwell. The ballroom now has a much more modern, elegant feel as the tall windows have been exposed with new drapery and the columns have been removed to open up the space dramatically. And, it still felt like a Boston wedding film, as the Boston Band Legit kept the party rocking all night long.

Liz and Scott decided late in the wedding planning process to add a wedding film to their budget. They were the lucky couple that found the one open date left of our busy, fall wedding schedule. As a Boston Wedding Videographer located west of Boston, we get quite of few opportunities to film weddings in the Berkshire Hills of Massachusetts.

Liz and Scott were married in an outdoor ceremony at the Pittsfield Country Club in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. It was a cloudy, overcast day, right until about two minutes before the ceremony when the sun broke through the clouds. There is no doubt that the one moment I will always remember about this wedding was Scott’s reaction to Liz, as she walked down the aisle. It was priceless! And, well deserved, as Liz looked gorgeous in her Enzoani dress and classic, birdcage veil which she bought from the wonderful ladies at Bancroft Bridal. Personal vows and a fun dancing party were two more of the major highlights of Liz and Scott’s Berkshire wedding video.

Melissa and Daniel were a Boston couple who got married back in Melissa’s home area of Suffield, Connecticut. We met for the first time in a Italian pastry shop nearby and little did I know that it was a great choice, as Daniel had a deep, native Italian heritage. It turned out that the bride and some of us at JPod Productions actually had some mutual friends and this was quickly turning into a great connection and a potentially great Boston wedding video.

Melissa and Daniel were married in her neighboring town of Simsbury, Connecticut at St. Mary’s Church with the reception at one of the area’s most popular reception venues, the Riverview. Deacon Arthur Murray infused his great personality, while using Daniel’s Italian heritage and family accent within the ceremony. I loved Melissa’s simple and classic style with her Casablanca dress from Bella Sera Bridal. She was just such an easy-going bride with a relaxed groom to match which always makes for a pleasurable wedding day.

We got to work with Jodi Lott from Be Still Photography and Mike Paganelli from C-Zone Productions, who took care of the uplighting and DJing for the evening. The wedding had a great energy all day long and I think this highlight film really brings that energy back to life. Enjoy our most recent Boston wedding video.

The first time we met Miriam and Dan, it was via an hour-long skype meeting from their New York City apartment. The couple was well prepared and very thorough in the initial meeting, but what I remember most about the meeting was a great connection that was established throughout the evening. I love a couple that has their act together and I could see early on that Mirian and Dan had the makings for a great Boston wedding video. This Boston Wedding video is about a groom who doubted that there may be a perfect romantic match for him, until he met a girl named Miriam.

Miriam and Dan chose an iconic Boston theme for their wedding weekend, which started with a rehearsal dinner at the Anthem Kitchen + Bar in Faneuil Hall. With a T-train place card display that included reception tables named after train stops, to a photo session that crossed the city to numerous famous Boston sites, the wedding had a true, iconic Boston feel. The continuous activities from the Tish, Ketubah signing, pre-ceremony reception, ceremony, cocktail hour and reception were littered with special touches that made the day exciting to film. There were plenty of great personal and family touches by the bride, as the lace from her mother’s wedding dress was stitched into Miriam’s veil, the pearls were designed and built throughout the milestones of Miriam’s childhood, the tallit of the Chuppah was sewn together with several different connections to each family, and the cake cutting utensils dated back to Miriam’s grandparents.

The weekend started with an emotional rehearsal dinner at Anthem Kitchen + Bar in Faneuil Hall in Quincy Market. The Royal Sonesta Boston, neighboring the Charles River, was the setting for most of the wedding day events. We had a fun time traveling on the Original Party Trolley with Miriam and Dan and their wedding party in our afternoon photo session with Randall + Theresa from Garnick-Moore Photography. The ceremony was eloquently planned with the help of Paula Marrero from Marrero Events and romantically lit by Paul and Fritz Bosch from Boston Event Lighting. As Boston Wedding videographers, it was a fun wedding to film.

We take a break from our Boston wedding videos to visit a new popular destination for JPod Productions wedding films, which are the Green Mountains of Vermont. This new popular destination brings us a Vermont wedding video from the towns of Woodstock and Killington on a beautiful day that brought together the sweet Amy Zajdel and the charismatic Justin Laramie for a classic Vermont Wedding. Amy and Justin are a couple that embraces the beautiful landscape of the Vermont Mountains and all they have to offer. Although they have this equal enjoyment of the Green Mountains, I think it is Justin’s outgoing personality matched with Amy’s more conservative demeanor that makes these two a great couple.

Amy and Justin’s wedding had a lot of Vermont charm with the groom helping to build many of the elements of this Vermont Mountain-themed wedding. There was a birch tree archway for the reception entrance, table numbers carved out of actual tree trunks, mason jar favors, and tall, tree branch centerpieces with hanging votives as part of the reception decor. The bride used a pair of yellow wedding shoes and yellow accents in their bridal bouquets to give the wedding a little “wow” factor. Add to that, the groomsman’s cowboy hats and a couple of “Yee-Haws” and you had a great Vermont wedding video.

In this Vermont highlight film, the ceremony took place at Our Lady of the Snows Church in Woodstock, while the preparations and reception were held in the beautiful Killington Grand Resort Hotel on Killington Mountain.  We filmed alongside the great photography team of Rick and Paula Labrecque from Cronin Hill Photography and the party was full of energy thanks to Neil from Starlight Entertainment. The wedding was featured by Vermont Vows wedding blog and the couple also received a wedding trailer which is also located on this Boston Wedding Video blog.
