Chrissy and Kerry were one of three same sex couples that we had the privilege of filming in 2015. For these two beautiful brides, they chose to have a private ceremony, and then, celebrate with family and friends separately. We had the opportunity to film the cocktail hour and reception at the scenic Log Cabin in Holyoke, Massachusetts.

Chrissy and Kerry met through a work softball team and were “officially” introduced by their mutual friend Sandy at a post-game gathering. These two are as generous as they come with their family and friends, and they have a nice balance of personalities with Chrissy’s conservative persona and Kerry’s outgoing nature. It was really amazing to see how much love and support these two have from family and friends. The warmth in the room was remarkable.

This latest Boston Wedding Film is what I would call a mini-highlight film. It’s a little shorter than our average highlight film, but it is still packed with a tremendous story driven by Kerry’s brother Buddy. Enjoy!

After two great years in the heart of Boston on Newbury Street, JPod Films has opted for a larger space a little further out from the city. As of March 1st, JPod Films will now call 44 Washington St. in Wellesley Hills, Massachusetts our new home.

The new location allowed us to have a bigger space to work and to meet with clients. Although we will miss the hustle and bustle of Newbury St, as well as Thai Basil’s Chicken Pad Thai, our new space is in a great location near the Mass Pike and I-95 Interchange. The new, larger space also provides our clients residing outside the city easier access to meet with us, including free parking options. Additionally, we will be sharing our space with two great event professionals in SD Events and Allegro Photography.

Simple Design Events, better known as SD Events, is a wedding planning company that takes a vision and turns into reality. Owner Tasha Bracken, as well as event Producers Renee Sabo and Priscilla Kwong provide this full-service boutique firm with a strong team of professionals that can handle events of any size.

David and Jo Lee from Allegro Photography are ingrained with our similar Western Mass. ties, before they took Boston by storm just over five years ago. Their images always take advantage of available light and their eye for composure is phenomenal. Add to that their friendly, easy-going personalities, and know you know why we are excited to share office space with them.

In week three of our four-part series highlighting the four wedding photographers that have their images featured on our JPod Films website, we are featuring a couple who has supported us tremendously from day one. Dave and Eileen Breveglerei of Breveglerei Photography were the first photographers to really start referring our Boston wedding films. We will never forget where we came from…

Dave and Eileen are the perfect husband and wife team, as Dave is the technical guru who I can geek out with over cameras and road cycling. Eileen brings a punch of personality, as she is so much fun to be around. With that said, she can still round up and reign in the rowdiest of wedding parties as good as anyone.

When we work with Dave and Eileen, we always seem to fuel each other’s creative juices. One great idea will lead to another during the couple’s photo session. We always like to try and outdo each other’s ring shots too. It’s that kind of fun competitiveness that benefits the couple in the end. Check out some of their work below and visit their website HERE.
